I'm a 5th year BS-MS student at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata, majoring in Earth Sciences with a minor in Computer Science.
My master's work is on ambient seismic noise, supervised by Prof. Kajaljyoti Borah. I'm learning how the background vibration that seismometers record all the time can be used to measure small changes in seismic velocity underground.
